Welcome to Penicuik

Since we acquired it in 2005 we have transformed the space into a modern, open plan nursery offering the very best environment for young children to develop and grow. The extensive conversion from Doctors surgery allowed us to knock down walls and create new open spaces, flooding the rooms inside with light. 

The nursery is located in central Penicuik within walking distance to all local amenities e.g. local parks, nature trails and library. The nursery is integrational links with Cowan Court residential homes which is located next to the nursery.

We are situated behind Tesco superstore. We are a 5 minute walk from the following Lothian bus routes. We open at 7.15 for parents to have plenty of time to commit into Edinburgh in the morning. The nursery has ample parking outside for drop-off and pick-up.  We are also ½ mile or less from local primary schools Strathesk, Cuiken & Murricewood.

We offer outstanding childcare for children aged from 0 to 5 years, with 53 registered childcare places. We are open 7.00am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.

We offer 10% discount to parents who are in the armed forces or working for the NHS.
